The Meaning Behind the Name

The name Nani means “beautiful” in Hawaiian — a word that perfectly represents the heart of this business. The islands has always felt like a place of warmth, connection, and inspiration to me. That feeling of ease and beauty is something I strive to bring to every client experience. 

The name holds a deeper, more personal meaning. My nana, who we lovingly called Nonnie, was a constant source of love and encouragement in my life. She played a significant role in inspiring me to pursue my goals and believe in myself. Although she is no longer here with us, her spirit lives on through Nani Spray Tan.

How It All Started

I founded Nani Spray Tan in 2021 as I was preparing to graduate college with a degree in Business Marketing. What began as a passion quickly grew into a business rooted in care, attention to detail, and genuine connection. From the very beginning, my vision was to create an inclusive, professional service where every client feels seen, comfortable, and confident. 

Today, Nani Spray Tan continues to grow with that same intention — providing high-quality, personalized spray tans while honoring the meaning behind the name and the people who inspired it.​
